Modern Architectural Signage

Brutalist. Minimalist. Uncompromising. We forge ultra-modern signage systems using raw metals, sleek acrylics, and hidden LED integration.

Modern Architectural Signage

Modern architecture demands modern signage. A sleek, glass-and-steel building is ruined by a clunky, off-the-shelf plastic light box. SignForge specializes in ultra-modern, minimalist signage fabrication. We let the materials do the talking. We work with raw corten steel that weathers to a rich, natural patina, brushed aluminum, and matte-black acrylic. We hide the mounting hardware and bury the LED wiring to create signs that look like pure, glowing architecture.

Fabrication

How we build it.

Five disciplines under one roof — engineered metalwork, digital precision, and hand craftsmanship.

  1. Welder fabricating a steel sign frame

    01

    Structural Metal Fabrication

Heavy-gauge steel and aluminum are cut, welded, and reinforced in-house to engineered specs. Every frame is built to withstand decades of wind load, seismic movement, and coastal weather.

  2. MultiCam CNC router carving wooden sign panels

    02

    Precision CNC Machining

Automated multi-axis CNC routers carve intricate 3D profiles from thick wood, PVC, and composite stock with sub-millimeter accuracy. The result is repeatable, dimensional detail that hand tooling can't match.

  3. Fiber laser cutting precision metal sign components

    03

    Advanced Laser Cutting

High-powered lasers slice acrylic and plastic with flame-polished, ready-to-finish edges, and cut thin metals to tight tolerances. Every letter, logo, and inlay assembles cleanly the first time.

  4. Large-format Roland printer producing a vinyl banner

    04

    Large-Format Digital Printing

Commercial-grade flatbed and roll printers produce vivid, UV-stable graphics on substrates up to monument scale. Inks and laminates are rated for years of outdoor exposure without fading or peeling.

  5. Craftsman hand-finishing dimensional letters

    05

    Artisan Hand-Finishing

Master craftsmen complete every piece by hand — custom color matching, fine detail painting, and meticulous finishing. It's the final layer that separates a manufactured sign from a signature one.

FAQ

Common questions.

Channel letter installation on storefront
Project manager reviewing site plans
Finished interior lobby signage
Fabricator measuring channel letter depth
Will Corten steel rust onto my concrete?
Yes, as Corten steel weathers, it will produce rust runoff. We engineer our Corten monuments with hidden drip-pans or specify gravel beds beneath the sign to manage the runoff and protect your concrete.
How do you achieve a seamless "push-through" look?
We use advanced CNC routers to cut the logo out of a solid sheet of aluminum. We then cut the exact same logo out of 1/2" thick acrylic, and physically push the acrylic through the aluminum face, illuminating it from behind.
Can you do matte-black signs that light up?
Yes! We use specialized "Day/Night" acrylic. It looks completely solid, matte-black during the day, but when the LEDs turn on at night, the material becomes translucent and glows bright white.
